STEVEN E. COPIT, M.D.

Dr. Copit is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a Clinical Assocate Professor of surgery at Jefferson.  A Philadelphia native with over 22 years of experience as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Steven E. Copit is well regarded in the field of cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction.  Dr. Copit graduated from Duke University and obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He then completed his residency in general surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a residency in plastic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Copit is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been named a Top Doctor by Philadelphia Magazine from 2011-2016.


 

PATRICK J. GREANEY, JR., M.D.

After graduating from Jefferson’s six-year accelerated premedical-medical program in cooperation with Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Greaney continued his full general surgery training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  He then went on to complete advanced training in burn reconstruction, plastic surgery, and microsurgery in New York City at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill-Cornell, Montefiore Medical Center, and NYU Langone Medical Center, respectively, before returning to Philadelphia.  Dr. Greaney is Board Certified by both the American Board of Surgery and  American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Greaney is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  He has been the recipient of numerous academic and teaching awards.  Dr. Greaney has also published his work in major plastic surgery journals and presented at a number of regional and national meetings.   Dr. Greaney resides with his wife in Center City, Philadelphia.


 

MATTHEW P. JENKINS, M.D.

Dr. Jenkins is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  Dr. Jenkins earned a BS/BA in biology and sociology from Boston College, after which he obtained a medical degree at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.  He continued his medical training at Temple University Hospital where he completed his general surgery residency and a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery.  Dr. Jenkins is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Jenkins has published academic articles in the top plastic surgery journal and has presented research at several academic conferences.  A native of Pennsylvania, he lives in Philadelphia with his wife and daughter
