Dr. Merriam Seyedain, a Board Certified Periodontist, joined our team in 2016. Dr. Seyedain is also an Assistant Professor of Periodontology and Oral Implantology at Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry teaching periodontology to future generations of dentists and periodontists.
Dr. Seyedain is a diplomat of ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists), the world’s largest dental implant organization.
She completed her DMD at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine and later her residency in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at Temple University. She was also awarded a Master’s degree in Oral Biology upon Graduation from residency with a published thesis on Whole Saliva Sulfur Strip to Screen for Periodontal Disease. She has had multiple other articles published in the Journal of the Biological Chemistry in the field of Bone Tissue Engineering.
Dr. Seyedain’s specialized training and interests include periodontal therapy, periodontal plastic surgery, and implant surgical procedures.
